A2 - Results

This action is finished, even if with some months of delay.

The delay was due to both some administrative problems (new and complicated procedures for ordering materials and devices) and to technical issues for the regeneration pilot plant.

In this actions the following activities were carried out:

i) some improvement were made to the existing absorption pilot plant, that will be used for the alkali with regenration process;

ii) the sizing, design and construction of the regeneration pilot plant was carried out. The regeneration pilot plant is now available;

iii) the pilot plant reactor for the BABIU process was sized, designed and constructed, including the necessary auxiliaries, and it is now available.
