A0 Results & State of advancement

The project activities started in January 2010.

The project management was carried out as the Action A0.

The activities of the project manager and other representatives of the beneficiary were aimed at:

- defining and appointing the personnel seconded to the project, requiring each of them recording the hours of work in appropriate time sheets;

- requiring that also each partner define and appoint the personnel seconded to the project since the very beginning of the activities

- organising a kickoff meeting with representatives of all the involved partners (27/01/2010);

- establishing a Steering Committee (ST) of the project - promoting the signing of the Partners’ Agreement

- distributing the pre-financing budget to the partners

- promoting the exchange and supply of financial up-dating status and financial documentation

- organising a virtual ST meeting (26/04/2010)

- organising the external monitoring team visit (17/05/2010)

- organising a technical meeting between DEF and UNIROMA (02/07/2010)

- organising a ST/technical meeting among the partners (09/07/2010).

In the frame of this Action A0, the Steering Committee (ST) was established during the kickoff meeting and the following people are in:

- Lidia Lombardi for DEF

- Renato Baciocchi for UNIROMA

- Francesco Olivieri for CSAI

- Gara Villalba for UAB

- Peter Mostbauer for ABF-BOKU

The ST agreed to meet also virtually using web tools as Skype, Google document, e-mail and sharing documents through the devoted part of the project web site. In the occasion of the kickoff meeting, the coordinating beneficiary gave the contacts for the administrative office that will care about the project and asked to all partners to identify a person in the respective administrative office as the responsible for the project expenses.

Also, the coordinating beneficiary distributed a CD containing:

- Letter with deadlines and other info for expense accounting

- Costs statement sheet: to be used for expenses accounting

- Common instructions (bookkeeping and financial rules for the management of LIFE projects) from the Common Provision (reference document)

- Timesheet model to be used for personnel hours accounting.

 

The coordinating beneficiary asked to each partner to appoint formally specific personnel to project (a draft of the letter was distributed).
