Two innovative processes for the biogas upgrading were investigated. Both the processes are characterized by the use of industrial solid residues (bottom ash and fly ash from waste combustion) for the removal and capture of carbon dioxide present in the biogas, with the aim of producing biomethane, which can substitute natural gas.
