Action 2 – A2 – Pilot plants sizing and construction

This group of actions is devoted to :

• preparation of document for pilot plant authorisation from local authorities,
  
• definitively size the two pilot plants
• make an executive design of the plants
• build the plants
• test the plant functioning.

The pilot plants will be constructed at the landfill Casa Rota, managed by CSAI S.p.A.. In this landfill the Coordinating Beneficiary already has some its own experimental facilities for research activities. Also, at the same site, a pilot plant was previously realised in the frame of the project GHERL LIFE05 ENV/IT/000874. The figure below shows the schematic of this pilot plant.
